Water Demand (conservation) Management

Water Conservation

Created at: 07 Apr 2020

This development makes use of rainwater harvesting to irrigate water-wise plants and a rooftop garden to intercept stormwater. There are water efficient flushing systems, taps and shower facilities installed to manage water consumption as well as water meter meters to monitor, trend and identify wasteful consumption patterns. There is a storm water management plan aimed to reduce the environmental impact and improve the ecological value of the development. The measures put in place show a 20% improvement in water efficiency over the benchmark building water intensity.
