Description

1. Foundations built to 2m height, allowing adequate freeboard during flooding events

2. Reinforced concrete deck with 4.8m span and safety rails to allow pedestrians, motorbikes and animals safe access during times of evacuation or travel to suco hall

3. Gabions installed on adjacent upstream curve in river to eliminate risk of riverbank erosion

4. 60m concrete footpath on inclined entry and exit points of bridge to ensure safety for all users during times of rain where previously the slippery surface was hazardous
