De woningbouwstichting heeft met de gemeente het gebied gereconstrueerd. er is minder bebouwing en verhard oppervlak voor terug gekomen. Om de waterkwaliteit te verhogen van het oppervlaktewater voert het regenwater deels af naar een wadi in plaats van naar het gescheiden riool systeem dat verder in het stadsdeel Dukenburg ligt.
