the former bakery, a 16th centurt buiding is situated on the foot of the surrounding hills. The Oliemolen (mill for oil production) was flooded on the 13th causing a lot of damage to this pitoresque situated B&B. . In the period of 13-15th of july approx 200 mm fell from the sky.

De B&B Oliemolen is een gebouw uit de 16e eeuw. Was tot enkele decades geleden als bakkerij en wat resteerde was een bouwval. Het gebouw is volledig met al het moderne gemak opnieuw opgebouwd. Om de oliemolen heen liggen volgens AHN3 heuvels die ca 40-50 m hoger ligger. De Oliemolen ligt ook aan de Caubeek. Het regenwater kwam ws van twee kanten en leverde een waterhoogte van 1-2 m op. De overtsroming geschiedde snel en het echtpaar kon zich ternauwernood in veiligheid stellen. Een buurman sloef het raam in, want de deur gig niet meer open. Op 13 juli viel er ca. 90 mm. Op 14 juli kwam daar nog eens 100 mm overheen
